Mae PruittPublished Wednesday, March 19, 2003 in the Gurdon TimesMae Pruitt, 91, of Gurdon, died Wednesday, March 12, 2003. Mrs. Pruitt was a homemaker and a member of the New Caney Baptist Church. She was also Gurdon's first school bus driver. Survivors include her son and his wife, David and Diane Pruitt of Gurdon; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 15, at the Horne Chapel with Rev. Mike Taylor officiating. Burial was be in South Fork Cemetery under the direction of Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
