Lee CampbellPublished Wednesday, March 12, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneLee Roy Campbell, 71, of Rosston, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. He was born December 13, 1931 in Nevada County. Mr. Campbell was a retired Asphalt Foreman with Jett Asphalt, a member of the Bodcaw Baptist Church #2 and a friend to all. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Denna Campbell Kretz. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Geraldine Miller Campbell of Rosston; one son, Tim Campbell of Bodcaw; one brother, Ray Campbell of Laneburg; one sister, Edna Britt of Gurdon; and three grandchildren, Jeremy Kretz, Todd Campbell and Alex Campbell all of Bodcaw. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2003, at the Bodcaw Baptist Church #2 with the Rev. Joe Brown and Rev. Jerry Evans officiating with burial in the Union Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
