Gladys RoePublished Wednesday, March 12, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneGladys Roe, 81, of Gurdon, widow of Clide Roe, died Monday, February 24, 2003. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Gurdon. Survivors include: six sons, Dale Roe of Arlington, Tex., Larry Roe of Wareham, Maine, Danny Roe of Chidester, Paul Roe of Arkadelphia, Glenn Roe of Gurdon and Eddie Roe of Hot Springs; two daughters, Kathryn Clark of Arkadelphia and Sherry Karr of Gurdon; one brother, Claudis Nelson of Bluff City; 15 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 28 at the First Baptist Church of Gurdon, with Rev. James Raines and Rev. Paul Sheets officiating.
