Jim GentlePublished Wednesday, March 12, 2003 in the Gurdon TimesJim Gentle of Gurdon, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at the age of 93. He worked at Cabe Lumber Co., and was of the Methodist faith. He is survived by one son, John Gentle of Bakersfield, Calif.; four daughters, Viola Delap of Fresno, Calif., Norma Schee of Prescott, Lois McClure of Gurdon, and Thelma Floyd of Prescott; 17 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Berniece Gentle, two sons, Jim Cutis Gentle, Dalton Webb, and one grandson, Timmy Webb. Funeral services were held Friday, March 7, at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Nathan Rogers officiating.
