Pearl SmartPublished Wednesday, March 5, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayunePearl R. Smart, 91, of Camden, died Monday at Valley Oaks Nursing Home. She was a member of Cullendale First Baptist Church and employed by Stinson's Jewelers for many years. She was the widow of John Smart whom she married on November 2, 1933, in Prescott. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Walter G. and Sally Barham Ridgell and her sister, Ruby Thomason. She is survived by her son, Tom Smart and his wife, Barbara of Camden; her daughter, Martha Schrakamp and her husband Nick of Houston, Tex.; one sister, Cleo Formby of Prescott; one brother, Barham Ridgell of Alexander; seven grandchildren, Susan White and her husband, Bill, Tommy Smart and his wife, Audrey; Alexia Fussell and her husband, David, Scott Schrakamp and his wife, Lisa, Vickie Knight and her husband, Larry, Steve Schrakamp, and Matt Smart and his wife, Elizabeth; 11great-grandchildren, Nicole Smart, Jonathan Fussell, Tyler Schrakamp, Ethan Smart, Kathryn Knight, Hayley Schrakamp, Alex Smart, Madeline Knight, Alison White, Jackson Fussell, and Olivia Knight. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Thursday at Proctor Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Salmon, Rev. Harlon Lusby and Dr. Jimmy Burks officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery.
