James Hawthorne

Mr. James T. Hawthorne, 64, of Hope, died Monday, February 17, 2003, in Hope.

He was born on September 26, 1938, in Miller County, to Clyde and Mittie Wheat Hawthorne.

He was a cattle and row-crop farmer.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Clyde Hawthorne, Jr.

Survivors include: four sons, James Timothy Hawthorne of Hope, Ronald Hawthorne of Sutton, Roger Hawthorne of Hope and Gene Hawthorne of Rockhill, S.C.; two daughters, Sindee Hawthorne of Hope, and Lisa Beasley of Rockhill, S.C.; four brothers, Dave Hawthorne of Nashville, Robert Hawthorne of Fulton, Lynn Hawthorne of Waco, Texas and Jeff Hawthorne of Fulton; six sisters, Mary Kaiser of Prescott, Martha Moten of McNab, Lois Wilson of Ozan, Nancy Adams of Guernsey, Jeannie Hawthorne and Pat Clayton both of Hope; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were 2 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2003, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope with Rev. Otis McKamie officiating. Burial followed in Fulton Cemetery in Fulton.
