Jesse HornePublished Wednesday, February 26, 2003 in the Gurdon TimesJesse Neil' Norne, 89, of Gurdon, died Friday, February 14, 2003. Mr. Horne was a retired conductor for Missori Pacific Railroad and a life long member of the Beech Street Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Connie Grayson and husband, Bobby of Brentwood, Tenn.; son Tony Horne and wife, Brenda of Little Rock; sister, Viola Phillips of Prescott; granddaughters, Kim Propst and husband, Kevin of Brentwood, Tenn., Tara Horne of Bloomfield, Colo., and Sandi Miller and husband, Brad of Little Rock; and great-grandchildren, Grayson Propst and Jack Propst, Austin Miller and Lauren Miller, and devoted friend, Julia Cobb. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alline Guynn Horne of 64 years. Funeral services were held at Beech Street Baptist Church in Gurdon, Monday, Feb. 17, with interment in Rose Hedge Cemetery.
