Hubert Morrow Sr.Published Wednesday, January 22, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneHubert Doyle Morrow, Sr., 76, of Prescott, died Thursday, January 2, 2003, at his home. Mr. Morrow was born April 27, 1926, in Pleasant Hill. He was a retired farmer and rural route postal carrier and a member of Midway Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Joy Coates Morrow; and one son, Westley Bennett Morrow. Survivors include two sons, Hubert Doyle Morrow, Jr. of Waco, Texas, and James Carol "Jimmy Morrow of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Sue Long McKinnon of Prescott; one brother, Herbert Early Morrow of Prescott; six sisters, Viola Marie Montgomery of Hope, Thelma Violet Lloyd of Chapel Hill, N.C., Lois Evelyn Woodul Latch and Joy Rhea Slatton of Delight, Clarice Ernestine Theobolt of Fieldbrook, Calif., and Nellie Alice Carolyn Palmer of Prescott; two grandsons; one great-grandson; and a number of other relatives. Services were held January 4, 2003, at Midway Methodist Church. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under direction of Shackelford Funeral Home.
