Bobbie HerringPublished Wednesday, January 22, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Bobbie Jean Herring, 69, of Stephens, died January 12, 2003, at her home in Stephens. She was born April 8, 1933 in Prescott. Her parents were W.H. and Ramona Luck Oswalt. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. She was precede in death by her parents, her husband, George Herring and a brother, Billy Joe Oswalt. Survivors include: one daughter, Diane McKamie and husband Richard of Stephens; three sons, Danny Herring and wife Cathy of Stephens, Dickey Herring and wife Dianne of Walkerville, and David Herring and wife Lisa of Houston; one sister, Sandra Tribble of Camden; one brother, Gary Don Oswalt of Magnolia; one sister-in-law, Betty Oswalt of Bossier City, LA; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2003, in Bailey Funeral Home Chapel of Magnolia with Rev. Wayne Langston officiating. Interment was in Mount Olive Cemetery in Rosston.
