Thomas Campbell

Mr. Thomas Lee Campbell, 69, from Emmet (Campbelltown Community), died Monday, January 13, 2002, at Memorial Hospital in Little Rock.

He was born October 3, 1933, in Laneburg, to William Edward and Callie Gathright Campbell. He was retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad after 43 years service. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union and a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Antioch Community. He was an Air Force Veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and by one daughter, Debra Lee Campbell.

Survivors include: his wife of 39 years, Mary Ann Carruthers Campbell of Emmet; one son, Thomas Edward Campbell and Teresa of Hope; one brother, William Edward "Son" Campbell of Gurdon; one sister, Frances Campbell Munn of Laneburg; two grandchildren, Angie Miller of Connecticut and Ashley Gillam of Texarkana, AR; and one great-grandson, Alex Miller of Connecticut.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2003, Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Rev. Arlis East, Rev. James Bryant, and rev. Elmer Grant officiating. Burial followed in Harmony Cemetery in Sutton. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
