Margaret Patterson

Margaret Nabors Patterson, 84, of Arkadelphia, died Monday, January 13, 2003, in Twin Rivers Health and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Patterson was born August 4, 1918, in Arkadelphia, daughter of the late Thomas Howard and Lillian Edwards Nabors.

She was a seamstress at Hollywood Vassarette and a member of Park Hill Baptist Church, DeGray Home Extension Club and the Quilter's Guild.

Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn May and her husband, Bill of Arkadelphia; one brother, George Nabors of Arkadelphia; one sister, Mary Jo Shepherd of Arkadelphia; three grandchildren, Joe May and his wife, Kristie, Erin May and Molly May.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Patterson; one grandson, Sean Patrick May; two sisters, Elizabeth and Sarah Emily Nabors; and one brother, Haden Nabors.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 15, in Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Joe May officiating. Burial was in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
