Wayne Copeland

Wayne Copeland, 51, of Amity, passed away Friday, January 10, 2003.

Mr. Copeland was born at Amity, January 31, 1951, son of Ora Adell Tomason Copeland and the late Cleatous Otto Copeland.

He attended Shiloh Church of Christ and was an employee of Curt Bean Lumber Co. and a member of Copeland Hunting Club.

Survivors include his wife, Bettie Copeland of Amity; two daughters, Beverly Smith of Kirby and Patricia Copeland of Bismarck; a step-son, Erik Breazeale of Glenwood; a step-daughter, Jessie Livingston of Amity; his mother Ora Copeland of Amity; a brother, Arlo Copeland of Bismarck; eight sisters, Betty Lambert, Martha Wilson, Lillie Garner and Joyce York of Amity, Della Mitchell of Alexander, Fern Wright of Glenwood, Becky Shaffer of Sherwood, and Penny Wright of Bonnerdale; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 13, in Sweet Home Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home of Glenwood.

Pallbearers were John Ward, Mike Baker, Joey Varner, Ed Lawrence, Donald Shirley, and Raymond Willingham. Members of the Copeland Hunting Club were honorary pallbearers.
