Frances HerringtonPublished Wednesday, January 22, 2003 in the Gurdon TimesFrances J. Herrington, 82, of Gurdon, formerly of Indiana, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2003. Mrs. Herrington was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gurdon. Survivors include two sons, Robert Herrington of McCordsville, Ind., and Kenneth Herrington, of Avon, Ind.; one daughter, Patricia Oelwein of Bellevue, Wash.; four sisters, Mable Toland of Gurdon, Evelyn Norris of Greenwood, Miss., Charlyn Wells of Gurdon, and Rosemary Smith of Ozark; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services were held Wednesday, January 15, at First Baptist Church of Gurdon, with interment in Bethlehem Cemetery by Horne Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Gurdon.
