AG RobersonPublished Wednesday, January 22, 2003 in the Gurdon TimesA.G. Roberson, 86, of Gurdon, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2003. Mr. Roberson was born October 30, 1916, in Manning, to J.G. and Hattie Smith Roberson. He retired from International Paper Company. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Gurdon. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Myrtle Lee Adams Roberson of Gurdon; two daughters, Linda Roberson Brannan and her husband, Johnny of Prescott, and Brenda Roberson Reeder of Arkadelphia; two sons, Roger Roberson and his wife, Bertha of Mountain Pine, and Richard Roberson and his wife, Sandra of Gurdon; six grandchildren, Mary Hughes, Mark Cottingham, Kim McBee, Sherry Kuhn, Paul Roberson, Lindsay Rettmann, and six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Davalos of Romance. He was preceded in death by his brother and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 11, at the Horne Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Rose Hedge Cemetery.
