Glen AmmonsPublished Wednesday, January 15, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneMr. Glen Paris Ammons, 87, of Hope, died Friday, January 10, 2003, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. He was born May 6, 1915, in Nevada County to Gus and Amy Shipp Ammons. He was a retired sawmill operator. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie B. Ammons and six brothers and sisters. His survivors include: one son, Dale Ammons and Maxine of Princeton, La.; one sister, Joy Ammons of Prescott; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services were 2 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2003, at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bluff City, with Rev. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer.
