Donnie TolandPublished Wednesday, December 18, 2002 in the Nevada County PicayuneDonnie Toland, 56, of Delight died Monday, December 9, 2002. He was born July 20, 1946, in Arkadelphia, the son of Wilburn R. and Mary Sue Warren Toland. He was an auto body repairman, a Baptist and a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam and receiving the Purple Heart Medal. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Bobo; one son, Christopher B. Toland of Tyler, Texas; his mother, Mary Sue Toland of Hope; three brothers, W.R. (Dick) Toland of Blevins, Lonnie Toland of Saratoga, and Jearol Toland of Haskell; two sisters, Donna Sue Daniel and Dorothy Isbell both of Hope. Graveside services were 2 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2002, in the Golden Cemetery. Interment was under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.
