Corrie HoltPublished Wednesday, December 11, 2002 in the Nevada County PicayuneCorrie Woodul Hamilton Holt, 93, of Hope, died December 8, 2002. She was a homemaker. She was born May 31, 1909, in Nevada County. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She was a loving, caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She will be remembered by all her family and friends for the wonderful meals she prepared. She was the daughter of James Edgar and Violar "Ola" Cash Woodul. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Jeff Hamilton and Bill Holt, a very dear daughter, Eloise Holt, a sister, Lois Glanton and a son-in-law, M.O. Booker, Jr. Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce Booker of Emmet, Ann and Leon Collier of Carlsbrook, N.M. and Ralph Hale, Jr. of Vidor, Texas; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Services were Tuesday, December 10, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Harmony Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland officiating, under the direction of Herndon Funeral Home.
