James Henry Smith

James Henry Smith, 60, of Bodcaw died Saturday, April 10, 1999, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

Mr. Smith was born December 27, 1938, in Hamilton, Texas, to Otha Earl Nickels and Louise Buris Smith. He was self-employed home repairman and owner of J.C. Enterprise. Mr. Smith was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Waldo.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Smith of Bodcaw, two sons, Joseph William Smith of Tyler, Texas, and Shane Paul Smith of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and Rick Olsen of Mans Harbor, N.C., and Peggy and Larry Adams of New Caney, Texas; his mother, Louise Buris Smith of Mexia, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Jack Mendenhall of Pace, Fla.; and twelve grandchildren.

Graveside services were Tuesday, April 13, at Corinth Cemetery in Bodcaw with Rev. Mark Hatter and Rev. Billy Russell officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. Contributions may be made to Carol E. Smith, Rt. 3, Box 227, Rosston, AR 71858.
