Bruce WaldonPublished Wednesday, December 4, 2002 in the Gurdon TimesBruce O. Waldon, 75, of Gurdon, died Wednesday, November 27, 2002. Mr. Waldon was a retired employee of Reynolds Metals Company, U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a member of Beech Street Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances Waldon; five daughters Leigh Ellen Hunter of Mansfield, Texas, Tommy Billing of Alexander, Wava Gail Stinnett of Maud, Texas, Johnye Sue Peacock of Monroeville, Ala., and Kitty Deimer of Vilonia; one brother, Charles O. Waldon of Shreveport, La.; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 9, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Rose Hill Cemetery, Gurdon by Horne Funeral Home.
