James D. "Buster" Green, 66, of Rosston, died Wednesday, November 13, 2002, at his home.

Mr. Green was born August 23, 1936, in Rosston, to L.B. and Tena Uelsel Green.

He was retired from the State Forestry and an auto diesel mechanic.

Cherishing his memory are: his wife, Lavern; one son, James David Green of Bluff City; two daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia Gail and Jack Burke of Houston, Texas, and Rebecca Lynne and Teryl Davis of Chidester; one brother, Homer Dwight Green of Rosston; five sisters, Maybelle Green of Magnolia, Helen May of Rosston, Vernell Loe of Bluff City, Betty Tomlin of Rosston, and Marie Bussell of Camden; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lonnie and Imon Lee Green.

Services were Saturday, November 16, 2002, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of the Shackelford Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Hicks officiating. Interment at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bluff City. The family has entrusted these services to the Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.
