Jerry Cobb

Jerry Ray Cobb, 64, of Hope, died November 4, 2002, at his home.

Born on September 29, 1938, in Washington, son of Sylvester and Myrtle Mae Cogbill Cobb. He was a retired merchant/farmer and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bobby and Thomas Cobb; and a sister, Valdean Turner.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Cobb of Hope; three sons, Ronny R. Cobb of Jacksonville, Leslie Cobb of Hope, and Dustin Cobb of Prescott; two step-sons, Glenn Bobo of Little Rock and Scott Bobo of Benton; a daughter, Diane Whatley Hinchcliff of Hope; a step-daughter, Cindy Bobo England of Hope; two sisters, Jan Bush and Gay Gibson of Hope; 13 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were November 6 at 2 p.m. at the Herndon Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. William Tyler officiating. Burial followed at the Westmoreland Cemetery, under the direction of Herndon Funeral Home, Inc. at Hope.

Visitation was November 5 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
