Mr. Edward Lawrence "Eddie" Wiley, 85, of Prescott, died Friday, November 1, 2002, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

He was born January 11, 1917, in Burtsell, to Edward L., Sr. and Margaret Matlock Wiley.

He was retired from Firestone of Prescott. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.

His survivors include: his wife, Ora Belle Hale Wiley of Prescott; nine sons, Paul Wiley of Fresno, Calif., George Wiley of San Diego, Calif., Douglas Wiley of Highland, Calif., Ronald Wiley of Fresno, Calif., Sam Wiley of Prescott, Harold Wiley of Prescott, Sanny Wiley of San Bernadino, Calif., Kenneth Wiley of Prescott, and Felix Wiley of Prescott; two daughters, Carol Marshall of Prescott, and Merion Fletcher of Sacramento, Calif.; 33 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were 11 a.m., Friday, November 8, 2002, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Boughton, with Rev. James Wiley, Jr. and Rev. Lonnie Hughes officiating. Burial was in Washington Hill Cemetery in Boughton. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
