William Smithpeters

William J. Bill' Smithpeters, 84, of Okolona, died Tuesday, November 5, 2002.

Mr. Smithpeters was a farmer and attended the Maryetta Pentecostal Church in Okolona.

He is survived by his wife, Ines Smithpeters; two sons, Dwight Smithpeters and David Smithpeters, both of Okolona; two daughters, Ina Rogers of Curtis and Ann Clark of Okolona; a brother, J.C. Smithpeters of Okolona; four sisters, Lois Davis of Longview, Texas, Esther James of Payola, Okla., Freda Sue Barfield of Bald Knob, and Opal Anderson of Arkadelphia; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Smithpeters was preceded in death by a son, William Paul Smithpeters.

Funeral services were held Thursday, November 7, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel in Gurdon, with Rev. Dewitt Little officiating. Burial was at Center Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Horne Funeral Home in Gurdon.
