Tillman ThompsonPublished Wednesday, October 23, 2002 in the Nevada County PicayuneMr. Tillman B. Thompson, 79, of Prescott, died Tuesday, October 15, 2002, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. He was born on June 23, 1923, in Nevada County to Jerry and Alta Evans Thompson. He was a retired carpenter and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by eight brothers and sisters. Survivors include: three brothers, Vernon Thompson of Prescott, J.Y. Thompson of Stephens, and Donald Thompson of Michigan; two sisters, Geneva Cottingham of Prescott and Mary Helen Hollis of Waldo; one special niece, Jo Ann Thompson of Prescott; four special great-nephews, Michael Bledsoe, Greg Bledsoe, Adam Bledsoe, and Aaron Johnson all of Prescott; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2002, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Rev. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial followed in Snell Cemetery in Emmet.
