Lucy Glass, Maxine Glass, Liz Nunn, Jackie Langston and Pam Dougan went to Jonesboro to participate in a bowling tournament. They played well and returned home Sunday.

Friend and relatives will be sorry to hear of the death of Morris "Boob" Munn at Prescott Manner. Graveside services were Tuesday in Caney.

We missed Bobby and Wanda Lunsford at church Sunday. They are both on the sick list.

Steve, Deb, Cody Jackson, Dee Jarvis, Ricky Hamric, Pat, Tim and Leah McCullough had lunch with their dad, J.W. Glass Sunday after church.

Morris Baptist Church is sponsoring a five day revival at the Serepta Springs shed. Preachers will be from the First Union Association. Services will begin Monday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m. with Bro. Pat Fulmer of Land Mark Baptist Church, Hope Tuesday. Bro. Chad Thompson, White Oak Grove, Wednesday. Bro. Tal Webb, Morris Baptist Church, Thursday. Bro. Britt Dupree, Park Missionary Baptist, Friday. Bro. Trey Harrison, Mt. Zion Baptist. Each church will bring special music on the night its pastor preaches. Morris Baptist invites you to come fellowship with us.

Bro. Tal reported our T. and T. training program for young people got off to a good start. Twenty-two youngsters came Thursday evening at 6:30 to begin this very important program. Bible study will also continue beginning each Thursday at 7:00. We invite you to bring your children to Truth and Training and attend our Bible study at 7:00. Singing will still be on the 4th Thursday evening.

Ken and Celia Karmel went to Dallas Thursday. From there they flew to Las Vegas where Ken attended an opera. They went on to San Diego to visit Ken's son, Clay, who has a new son. They returned home today.

Dennis Hicks of Dallas visited his parents Bob and Carolyn for the week end.

My daughter, Amy Sweat, spent Saturday night with me. She went on to Magnolia Sunday morning to visit Emily at SAU.

Thought: you can't turn back the clock but you can wind it up again.
