Turkey hunting is still big news, Willie killed a nice jack gobbler Wednesday.

Don't forget the annual Piney Grove Cemetery clean up day Saturday, April 17. Bring tools to work with and lunch, we will have dinner together.

We are so sorry to hear Louise Crayne broke her hip Thursday. She is in St. Michael Hospital at Texarkana and has had a complete hip replacement. Her sister Ruth Newth visited her Saturday.

Paul Ridgell spent the weekend with his mother, Doris Ridgell, his sister, Boletta Crabtree and nieces, Jan and Pam McAllester of Fort Worth, Texas.

Terry Crabtree of Fort Worth spent a few days with Herbie Ridgell, they did some fishing.

Annie Mae Hooks returned home Wednesday after spending some time with her daughter, Diane Blakenship and family. Annie Mae also visited her sister, Elsie May in an Ashdown hospital. Elsie is home now.

Harold and Thelma White of Van Buren visited his uncle Lenord House and wife Faye one day last week. They also visited Ray and Betty Cagle.

We hated about the death of Scott Johnson last week. I didn't know it when I wrote my news. Gaye Shelton and family spent some time with her mother, Mildred Johnson Scotts grandmother.

Evans Jones spent several days in Medical Park hospital in Hope with pneumonia, but is back in Hillcrest Health Care.

Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Walthall of Texarkana and their daughter, Denise Walthall of California and May Belle Brothers of New Mexico visited Mary and J. D. Lucas Sunday afternoon.
