Pastor Jimmy D. Lewis, 63, of Lehigh, Florida, died Friday, August 30, 2002, at his residence.

He was born in Bodcaw, February 28, 1939, to Carl and Retha (Russell) Lewis.

He left Arkansas, went to Florida then on to Three Rivers, Mich.

He married Florence Juanita Almand on December 21, 1957, in Laneburg.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two brothers.

He was with the NRA and enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include: four children, Terri and husband, Hal Graham, of Three Rivers, Jamie and husband, Larry Fegan, of Brimley, Mich., Tony and husband, Don Lewis, of Castro Valley, Calif., Don and wife, Autumn Lewis, of Three Rivers, Mich.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Terry (Murlene) Boswell of Midlothian, Texas, Mrs. L.E. (Martha) Dodson of McNeil; two brothers, George and Phyllis Lewis of Hooks, Texas, and Joe and Jackie Lewis of McNeil; a special friend, Gaye Albritton of Bowling Green, Florida; several nieces and nephews.

Services were Thursday, September 5, 2002, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Randy Burnett, pastor of The Twelfth Street Baptist Church, Kalamzoo, Mich., officiating at the Flowerfield Missionary Baptist Church in Three Rivers, Mich. Burial was in Flowerfield Cemetery in Three Rivers.

Visitation was Wednesday, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Eickhoff, Farrand, Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers.
