Glendell Clifton

Glendell Wayne Clifton, 68, of Emmet, died Monday, September 2, 2002, at the Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

Mr. Clifton was born November 29, 1933, in Clarksville, Texas, to Charlie and Carrie Pickrel Clifton. He was a retired bread man with the Ideal Bread Company and a member of Central Baptist Church in Prescott.

Survivors include: his four sons and three daughters-in-law, Randy Clifton of Glenwood, Larry and Cindy Clifton of Cale, Mike and Mia Clifton of Emmet, and Bobby and Teri Clifton of Hot Springs; his two daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and John Gosser of Coppell, Texas, and Kim and Marty Curtis of Springhill, Louisiana; his brother, Lendell Clifton of Dallas, Texas; his 12 grandchildren, and special friend.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Brandon Clifton and a brother, Don Clifton.

Services were Thursday, September 5, 2002, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the Shackelford Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Hicks officiating.

Interment was at Midway Cemetery in Prescott.

Visitation was Wednesday, September 4, from 6-8 p.m. at the Shackelford Funeral Home.

The family has entrusted these services to the Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.

Memorials may be made to the Midway Cemetery.
