Mamie WilliamsPublished Wednesday, September 11, 2002 in the Gurdon TimesMamie Lou Williams, 58 of Chidester, died Wednesday, August 28, 2002. Mrs. Williams was a housekeeper for Ouachita Nursing and Rehab, and a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Roy Williams; one son, Wade Pitts; one daughter, Marie Williams; four brothers, Bobby and wife, Linda Robertson, Eugene and wife, Sandra McClure, David Ray McClure, and Kenny Ray Arrington; and three sisters, Beverly and husband, Kenny Copeland, Patricia and husband, Richard Thompson, and Candy and husband, Floyd Husband. A viewing was held Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel. Remains were cremated with a private interment to follow at a later date. Arrangements were made by Horne Funeral Home, Gurdon.
