Mary Moore

Mary L. Billingsley Moore, 77, formerly of Prescott, died Wednesday in Houston, Texas.

She did clerical work for a dentist, was a member of the Church of Christ in Houston, Texas, and a member of the American Legion Post #586 and 360.

She was born on February 28, 1925 in Prescott to Lillard and Golda Billingsley.

Mrs. Moore is survived by: three sons and daughters-in-law, Roy and Janet Davis of Waco, Texas, John and Deb Davis of Houston, Texas, and Harry and Sharon Moore III of Marlin, Texas; two daughters and son-in-law, Cheryl and Bob Symms of Tomball, Texas, Catherine and John Kellen of Cypress, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Mary Billingsley of Prescott, and John and Jean Billingsley of Benton, Louisiana; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Lois McCain of Prescott, Imogene Turner of Camden, and Sue and Bud Hammans of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were Saturday, August 10, 2002, at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of the Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott with John Billingsley and Carl Dougan officiating.

Burial followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Shackelford Funeral Home.
