Ella BlountPublished Wednesday, July 17, 2002 in the Nevada County PicayuneElla Louise Blount, 86, died Sunday, July 7, 2002, in the Medical Park Hospital in Hope. She was a housewife. She was born in Snyder, Texas on March 28, 1916, to Oscar and Dola Brown. Mrs. Blount is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Sandy Blount of El Cajon, California; one daughter and son-in-law, Delores and Frank Clayborn in Prescott; her brother-in-law, Joe Pettross of Claunch, New Mexico; her six grandchildren, Bobby Joe Blount, Jr., Helen Louise Blount, Dolona Blount, Norma Patterson, William Clayborn, and Richard Clayborn; her six great-grandchildren, Christopher, Bryan, and Nicole Blount, Michael Shane Bruner, Dalton Clayborn, and Lexus Clayborn; and one great-great- grandchild. Gravedside services were held on Friday, July 12, at the Claunch Community Cemetery in Albuquerque, New Mexico by the Harris-Hanion Mortuary of Mountainair, New Mexico.
