Terroristic threatening charges were issued after a Prescott man cut his victim's neck.

Antonio Dilworth, 20, of Prescott was placed under arrest Monday, June 13, for a Class A misdemeanor and a Class D felony.

According to court records, the Nevada County Sheriff's Office received a phone call stating someone had been cut at a residence in Emmet, but did not need medical attention.

Deputy Danny Martin responded to the call and arrived on the scene. Martin stated he met two women, Angela Dyer and Tammy Cooper.

The women said Dilworth had cut Dyer with something on her neck.

Dyer then told Martin Dilworth's girlfriend Andrea Henley came to Cooper's house, where Dyer was visiting. Dyer stated Henley wanted to her to admit she had a relationship with Dilworth.

According to records, Dyer said she told Henley she had. Henley then asked Dyer to follow her outside to confront Dilworth about the affair.

When Dyer went to the car where Dilworth was waiting, she stated Henley told Dilworth she knew about the relationship. Dyer then stated that Dilworth jumped from the vehicle and tried to grab her by the neck, he then cut her with a sharp object.

Dyer stated she then ran to the house to get away from Dilworth, and he shouted, "Next time you...you won't be walking away."

Martin took pictures of two red cut marks on Dyer's neck then notified the Nevada County Sheriff's Office to be on the lookout for Dilworth.

Dilworth was found at his mother's residence in Prescott. Martin stated that during a routine patdown a pair of small scissors was found in Dilworth's pocket.

He was placed under arrest for battery in the third degree, a Class A misdemeanor, and terroristic threatening in the first degree, a Class D felony.

According to court records, Dilworth was currently on parole in Nevada County and was issued a white warrant.

A Class D felony is punishable by imprisonment not exceeding 6 years and/or a fine not exceeding $10,000.
