Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful sunshine, trees and flowers. I know we have had stormy weather, but still God has been good to us.

We played bingo Monday, the 5th, and Tuesday afternoon Martha Bearden took us on a trip to see the beautiful dogwoods. Wednesday, we wore our 'Meals for Seniors' tee shirts, as it was World Health Day and April is Meals for Seniors month.

The Music Makers went to Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation on Tuesday, April 13, to sing for the residents, and Tommy Hays will be at the center on Thursday. The square dancers will perform. On Friday, April 16, we will have a coloring contest and the Head Start children will be our judges.

We have a wonderful staff, Charlotte Shepherd, is our director, Naomi Brown is site manager and Martha Bearden is activity director and volunteer coordinator. Barbara Weems s head chef. Geneva Caldwell, Vernessa Russey and Sue Schoonover are the kitchen staff. Shirley Francis is our sub. She works in the kitchen some and is also a volunteer on the home delivery route. Charlyne Wells is a volunteer on the lunch route also.

We welcome Gladys Sherman back. She is able to attend the center, but some of our members are still not able.

If you would like to join us contact Naomi Brown or Martha Bearden at 353-2095.

We wish to thank Austin and Mary Lou Capps for the Easter baskets for bingo prizes.

The center is a program of Central Arkansas Development Council and an agency of United Way.
