Mrs. Shirley Ann Tippitt, 64, of Texarkana, Texas, (formerly of Prescott), died Tuesday, June 4, at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana.

She was born August 9, 1937, in Prescott to Cecil E. "Mutt" and Hazel M. Pope Tippitt.

She was a homemaker and an independent saleswoman. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Prescott. She was preceded in death by her parents and one niece, Hazel Ruthann Tippitt.

Survivors include: of the home: Bud Wagley of Texarkana, Texas; one daughter: Connie Nash McKinnon of Emmet; one brother: Pete Tippitt and Janice of Hope; three sisters: Judy Jester and Jimmy of Prescott, Charlotte Kay Prewitt and Donnie of Prescott, Sherry Little and Coy of Prescott; one grandson: Chad McKinnon and Amanda of Emmet; one uncle: H.H. Tippitt and Mary of Hope; and one aunt: Blanche Brown of Prescott.

Services were at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 6, at First Baptist Church of Prescott with Rev. David Hampton officiating.

Burial followed in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
