Louis DillardPublished Wednesday, May 29, 2002 in the Nevada County PicayuneBro. Louie Hollis Skip' Dillard, 73, of Rosston, died Monday, May 20, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Bro. Dillard was born January 1, 1929, in Mt. Moriah. He was a pastor for 35 years, a Mason and a Navy Veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Travis Wayne Dillard and by a brother, Donald W. Dillard. Survivors include his wife, Lola Noftager Dillard of Rosston; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Diana Dillard of Emmet and David and Teresa Dillard of Sparkman; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and James W. Cox of Rosston; mother, Ozelle Dillard of Prescott; two brothers, J.E. Dillar of Rosston and Travis Dillard of Bodcaw; two sisters, Margaret Rhodes and Cedallia Burke of Rosston; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 22, at the Bluff Springs Baptist Church with Bro. David Dillard (Donnie) and Bro. Ed Phillips officiating.
