Louise LaboskiPublished Wednesday, May 8, 2002 in the Nevada County PicayuneLouise Laboski, 83, of Houston, died, Sunday, May 5. Laboski was born on April 14, 1919, in Prescott, to Edward and Maybelle Grifford. Louise was a member of the DAVA Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her parents, 13 brothers and sisters, and her son, TJ Laboski. Louise leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 56 years, Steve Laboski; her sons, Mike Laboski and his wife Cathy, and Melton Laboski; her brother, Jewel Grifford; three grandchildren, Kim Villanueva and her husband, Daniel, Jon-Michael Laboski, and Matt Laboski; one great-granddaughter, Peyton Villaneuva. The family received friends on Tuesday, May 7, from 6-8 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Creek, 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 8, at the Houston National Cemetery, Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.
