Tommy EckertPublished Wednesday, May 1, 2002 in the Gurdon TimesTommy Joe T.J.' Eckert, 23 of Gurdon, died Sunday, April 21. Eckert was a salesperson and attended Sycamore Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Tristan Eckert of Gurdon; one daughter, Ashley Taber of Waldron; mother, Shelly Morgan; two brothers, Jesse Eckert of Gurdon and Billy Eckert of Columbia, S.C.; and grandparents, Maggie Eckert of Gurdon, Troy Morgan of Knights Landing, Calif., and Shirley and Ray Welch of South Dakota. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Eckert, a sister, Cindy Eckert, and a grandfather, Bill Eckert. Graveside services were held Thursday, April 25, at Rose Hill Cemetery with Bro.
