Donald Ingersoll

Donald Wayne Ingersoll, 59, died Sunday, April 7, at his home in Prescott.

Ingersoll was born September 19, 1942, in Boughton, to Earl and Eunice Mae Pruitt Ingersoll.

He was a retired air conditioner installer and repairman, was a dedicated and active member of the Boughton Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Arkansas Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, served his country in the United States Air Force, was a dedicated volunteer at the Hillcrest Nursing Home and was a member of the Farmers Market Cooperation.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cherishing his memory are: his loving wife, Patricia Ingersoll of Prescott; his four daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Nick St. Clair of Prescott, Darenda and Terry Langley of Camden, JoAnn and Bobby Martin, Becky and Richard Stivers all of Murfreesboro; his son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Rea Cogburn of Nashville, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Freda Ingersoll and Terrell and Olgia Ingersoll all of Hope; 13 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Jo Couch of Nathan; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Pat Couch of Nathan.

Services were Wednesday, April 10, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Shackelford Funeral Home with Bros. Billy Joe Christopher and Neal Ridling officiating.

Intermet was in the Piney Grove Cemetery in Boughton.

Visitation was Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family has entrusted these services to the Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott and requests that donations be made to either the Boughton Baptist Church Building Fund or Arkansas Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.
