Dr. Elizabeth Nelson

Dr. Elizabeth Buffalo Nelson, 32, of Clarksville, died Thursday, March 28, 2002, in her home.

She was born November 4, 1969, at Fayetteville.

She was a graduate of Carlisle High School, University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and UAMS in Little Rock, did her residency at Ft. Smith, University of Delta, Delta Delta Sorority at University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She was a Family Practice Physician at Clarksville Medical Group in Clarksville.

She is survived by: her husband, Andy Nelson; two daughters, Lauren Elizabeth Nelson and Alexis Katharin Nelson; her parents, Richard "Dicky" and Dianne Buffalo of Carlisle; her grandparents, Dorothy and the late Robert Buffalo of Carlisle and Bob and Betty Parker of Carlisle; two sisters, Suzanne and Brian Bible of Tampa, Fla. and Alexandria Buffalo of Carlisle; and one brother, Richard Buffalo of Carlisle.

Services were Tuesday, April 2, 2002, at the Church of Christ in Clarksville with burial at Hebron Cemetery at 4 p.m. with Rev. Mike Eppinette officiating. Under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville.

Pallbearers were Jamey Styles, David Walsh, Kent Reading, Dr. John Dunham, Dr. Ben Jacobs, and Dr. Jack Patterson.

Visitation was Monday, April 1, 2002, at 6-8 p.m. at Hardwicke Funeral Home.
