June Osborn

June Osborn, 69, of Emmet, died Tuesday, April 2, 2002, at her home.

She was born on Sept. 24, 1932, in El Dorado, to Shelby and Ruth Cox Jones.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Emmet and former church organist. She was preceded in death by her father and by one brother, Travis Dale Jones.

Her survivors include: her husband, James M. Osborn of Emmet; four sons, James M. Osborn, Jr. "Jimmy" of Whiting, Ind., Reginald Lee Osborn "Reggie" of Hobart, Ind., Donald Clyde Osborn "Donnie" of Michigan City, Ind. and Ted Randel Osborn of Westville, Ind.; her mother, Ruth Jones of Emmet; one sister, Suzanne Davidson of Emmet, nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four nephews and one niece.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2002, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.R. "Pete" Callicott and Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens in Hope. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.

Family received friends, Thursday, April 4, 2002 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
