Edna WilsonPublished Wednesday, April 10, 2002 in the Gurdon TimesEdna Mae Wilson, 81, of Gurdon, died Thursday, March 28, 2002. Wilson was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God in Gurdon. Survivors include her husband, Austin Wilson of Gurdon; six sons, Wayne Easley of Arkadelphia, Austin Easley, Bobby Easley, and Hershel Warren, all of Gurdon, Ray Easley of Ola, and Richard Wilson of Pine Bluff; seven daughters, Mae Taylor of Abilene, Texas, Cora Gallander of Bradley, Rita Easley, Peggy Schee, and Brenda Hammonds, all of Gurdon, Ruby Deaton of Arkadelphia and Liz Quinney of Delight; one brother, Ellis Fretwell of Salinas, Calif.; 26 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sons, Ralph Easley and Glen Dale Fretwell. Graveside services were held Saturday, March 30, in Easley Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Rogers officiating.
