Dena White

Dena White, 82, of Prescott died Thursday, March 28, 2002, in Jonesboro.

White was born January 19, 1920, in Nevada County to Clarence and Doshie Fore Bolls.

She was a housewife, a gospel singer in the 1950's and 1960's with the Lee-White Quartet and deputy treasurer for Nevada County from 1960 to 1966. She was a member of the Park Missionary Baptist Church in Prescott.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom White in 1992.

Cherishing her memory are: her son and his wife, Dr. Dennis and Vicki White of Jonesboro; her sister and brother-in-law, Johnita (Jonny) and Mac Osborn of Gurdon; and her granddaughter, Diana White Corder of Jonesboro.

Services were Sunday, March 31, 2002, at 3 p.m. at the Mt. Moriah Church with Bro. Tal Webb and Bro. Paul Sheets officiating.

Interment followed in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

The family has entrusted these services to the Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.
