Idell ElliottPublished Wednesday, March 27, 2002 in the Nevada County PicayuneIdell Elliott, 81, of Waldo, died March 23, 2002, at the Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana. She was born March 9, 1921, in Oak Grove, La., to the late John Allen and Florence Holland Pevytoe. She was a homemaker and a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Troy Elliott; one sister; and five brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Syble Williams; and husband, Charles L. of Waldo; sons, Donald Otis Elliott and wife, Karen Jean, of Pine Bluff, Clayborn Elliott and wife, Nancy, of Waldo, Roy Dale Elliott and wife, Pamela, of Willisville, and Michael Wayne Elliott and wife, Becky, of Magnolia; brother, Frank Pevytoe, of Star City; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at the Lewis Chapel with Bro. Daniel Williams officiating. Burial was in the Waldrep Cemetery.
