Christine N. McMahan, 97, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2002.

She was born May 22, 1904, to Charles and Lizzie Niemeyer in Laneburg.

A graduate of Prescott High School, she spent her career as a buyer and sales clerk for various department stores. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Prescott and sang in the church choir. She loved music, played the piano and also played in the band at Good Shepherd Retirement Center. McMahan was called "Mimi" by her grandchildren, loved to crochet, and was a member of ABWA and Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles William and Lizzie Eudora Niemeyer and a sister, Jessie Spradlin.

She is survived by her daughter, Jacque Isaacs of Little Rock; sister, Joyce N. Danner of Shreveport, La.; three grandchildren, Clark B. Isaacs of Seattle, WA, Martin S. Isaacs and Jennifer I. Smith, both of Little Rock; and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside gathering in remembrance of Christine N. McMahan was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2002, at DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott.
