Lenelle Goza AdamsPublished Wednesday, March 20, 2002 in the Gurdon TimesLenelle Goza Adams Lenelle Goza Adams, 73, of Arkadelphia, died Thursday, March 14, 2002, at the Twin Rivers Health and Rehab. Adams was born April 22, 1928, in Arkadelphia, the daughter of the late L.M. and Inez Brock Goza. She was a retired public school teacher, having taught science and home economics in Laneburg, Prescott, Hope and Arkadelphia for 25 years. She received a BSE degree from Henderson State Teachers College and MSE degree from the University of Arkansas. She was a member of the AUA, DAR, and Third Street Baptist Church. She actively volunteered in AWAC (Courage House), helped establish the Brushy Creek Baptist Campground, the Clark County Christmas Store, and had 10 years office service at Third Street Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Julius Adams of Arkadelphia; two sons, Kim Adams and his wife, Lorrie, and Greg Adams and his wife, Rae Lynn, all of Arkadelphia; one daughter, Kaye Abshier and her husband, Danny of Prairie Grove; one brother, Lod Goza and his wife, Belva, of Dallas, Texas; seven grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Corey, and Kristin Adams of Arkadelphia, Patrick, Robbie, and Ashton Abshier of Prairie Grove; one step-grandchild, Tiffany Gibson, and three step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 17, at the Third Street Baptist Church. Burial was in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
