Claudia Christine Wooten, 65, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, March 8, 2002, at her residence.

Wooten was born July 28, 1936, in Emmet and had lived in Texarkana for the past 40 years.

She was the former co-owner of Wooten Mobile Homes, Inc., and the Villa Package Store. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Texarkana, Ark.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Ed Wooten of Texarkana, Ark.; a daughter, Debra Luna of Terrell, Texas; two sisters, Mary Ann Faught and Bonnie Hastings, both of Texarkana, Texas; a grandson, Wayne Pretty of Terrell, Texas; a great-grandchild, Kris Pretty of Terrell; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services was Tuesday in Rondo Memorial Park with the Rev. Diane Brown officiating. Services are under the direction of the Texarkana Funeral Home.

The family received friends at the Funeral Home Monday from 6-8 p.m.
