Robert BrownPublished Monday, March 13, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneRobert D. (Brownie) Brown, 74, of Oxnard, Calif., died Sunday, March 10, 2002. He was born August 5, 1927. He retired from the Navy after serving 22 years. Survivors include: his wife, Carolyn Jester Brown of Oxnard; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Susie Jester of Prescott; one daughter, Carolyn Stratton of Lancaster, Calif.; one sister, Beverly Barton of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Mendy Loe of Prescott, Roger Humphery of Lancaster, Brandi Braden of Hope, and Shelley Humphery of Lancaster.
