Dudley StocktonPublished Wednesday, March 13, 2002 in the Nevada County PicayuneDudley H. Stockton, 73, of Prescott, died Monday, March 4, 2002, in a Texarkana hospital. Stockton was born January 28, 1929, in Prescott to Dalton and Vera Mae McWilliams Stockton. He was a retired saw filer from Potlatch, caretaker for Suckles Lake, and a member of the National Guard. He was a member of the Park Missionary Baptist Church. Cherishing his memory are: his three daughters and son-in-laws, Sharon and Bruce Fonetnot of Conroe, Texas, Lisa and Jason Jarrell of Delight and Julieanna Stockton of Prescott; three brothers and sisters-in-laws, Mack and Linda Stockton, Larry and Nancy Stockton, and George and Ann Stockton all of Prescott; six grandchildren and Geraldine Stockton. Services were Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at the Park Missionary Baptist Church with Tal Webb and Neal Ridling officiating. Interment was in the DeAnne Cemetery in Prescott. Family visitation was at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at the funeral home. The family has entrusted these services to the Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.
