Mildred WingfieldPublished Wednesday, March 13, 2002 in the Gurdon TimesMildred Elizabeth Pud' Wingfield, 81, of Kilgore, Texas, died Sunday, March 3, 2002, at her home in Kilgore. Wingfield was born March 9, 1920, in Okolona, the daughter of the late William and Ruth Crain. Wingfield was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include two sons and daughter in-law, Mike and Pat Wingfield of Kilgore, Texas, and Mark Wingfield of Kilgore, Texas; two daughters and son in-law, Marsha and Stanley Rosenblatt of Houston, Texas, and Betty Wingfield Layson of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband D.C. Wingfield. Services were held Tuesday, March 5, at Kilgore Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Salles officiating. Arrangements handled by Rader Funeral Home.
