Shirt designs wantedBY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, March 6, 2002 in the Nevada County Picayune Believe it or not, it's already time for the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce's Chicken and Egg Festival T-shirt design contest. The deadline for getting a design submitted to the Chamber is Friday, March 15, so those interested should hurry up and get their ideas on paper. According to Mary Godwin, executive director of the Chamber, the design must include the year, Prescott, Arkansas, and the 15th Annual Chicken and Egg Festival on the. Entries may use up to three colors, with the submissions to be on 8-inch by 10-inch paper. The winner will receive $50 in cash for their design. The judging committee reserves the right to reject any, or all, entries. Godwin said the judges will be from out-of-town, and the Chamber will decide the color of shirt after the design is selected.
